Girls would you find it annoying if your boyfriend did this?

I've been dating this girl for 6 weeks now, and though we have only been on 3 dates/hung out we were really good friends before so I already felt sort of close to her. Anyway, She is leaving for her cabin with her family tomorrow for four days or so. I sent her a Facebook message asking if I could see her in person to say goodbye. Would that annoy you if your boyfriend asked to do that?
