Does my close guy friend like me?

I have been super close with this guy since kindergarten and he rides my bus. I tell him everything and even my crushes. One thing is that when ever I ask him who he likes he ALWAYS says no one! He hasn't liked anyone for 8 years! 8 years! Also our school has group parties with a DJ and other things. Since I'm a bad dancer I hung out with the guy instead of dancing with my other friends and everyone kept coming up asking if we were going out.One girl even said that he had liked me since first grade. I didn't believe it..I cant believe it..I don't really want it to be true. What do I do? I think he might ask me out. What should I say if he does?
